PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Pratiwi is currently pursuing a PhD in Bioarchaeological geochemistry at SCU. Her research is focused on looking at the socioeconomic status, health, trauma, paleodiet, mobility, and ecological niche of Neolithic to Iron Age people in Wallacea. Prior to her PhD candidacy, she pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Skeletal Biology at New York University on a Fulbright Scholarship. Her Master's thesis used stable isotope analyses to investigate big mammal diet as a proxy for paleoenvironments at an Oldowan Site at Kenya, East Africa.
